This book was absolutely hysterical—and it rhymes! Pig the Pug is a lazy, naughty little pup who never wants to share. He lives with a wiener dog named Trevor, and one day, Pig piles up all his toys to keep Trevor from playing with them. But then… he takes a tumble! From that moment on, he learns an important lesson about sharing.
I’ve since read the rest of the books in this delightful series. Pig always finds himself in trouble and has to learn life’s lessons the hard way. In one book, he’s a fibber. In another, he’s a stinker who refuses to take a bath. He’s even a slob in one of the funniest stories yet!
The illustrations are fantastic—vibrant, expressive, and a perfect match for the playful tone of the stories. I absolutely love these books. They came highly recommended by my grandson Bryce’s preschool class, and let me tell you, Bryce is an in-demand book reviewer (probably because he’s so adorable!). When Pig the Pug was mentioned in class, the whole room erupted with excitement—it’s clearly a favorite among preschoolers everywhere.
So, if you’re looking for a fun, laugh-out-loud, rhyming series that little ones will beg to read again and again, Pig the Pugis a must. Go feed your need to read with this awesome and hilarious collection!
