A Beautiful and Powerful Book About Martin Luther King Jr.

This book was absolutely beautiful. The paintings by Kadir Nelson are incredible, and the inclusion of Martin Luther King Jr.’s original speech makes it even more special. This has become one of my favorite children’s books about Dr. King.

The artwork alone invites quiet reflection, but when paired with Dr. King’s powerful words, it creates a meaningful experience that stays with you. This book offers a wonderful opportunity to bring thoughtful dialogue to the table with your children, opening the door to conversations about history, equality, and kindness in a way they can begin to understand.
