Some books just stay with you long after you finish them, and this was one of those books for me. I think it touched me so deeply because I recently lost my parents, and so much of this story felt personal and comforting at the same time.
The author does such a beautiful job showing the value of a person’s life and the experiences that shape them. She highlights the love, joy, heartbreak, and memories that make a life meaningful. From holidays and ball games to the pain of losing people we love, the story gently reminds readers how precious those moments really are.
What I loved most was how thoughtfully the book handles such a tender subject. It doesn’t feel heavy or overwhelming, but instead warm, meaningful, and full of heart. I thought it was absolutely beautiful, and I would highly recommend it for families looking for a gentle way to help children understand the value of a life and the importance of cherishing the people we love.
