It’s Spring

By: Renee Kurilla

This book was absolutely amazing. The illustrations were vibrant, cheerful, and bursting with the beauty of spring. Every page felt bright and full of life, perfectly capturing the joy and renewal that comes with the season.

I especially loved how the author wove so many springtime traditions and moments into one adorable story. From Easter and Mother’s Day to Seder celebrations, seasonal allergies, spring cleaning, and all the little signs of the season in between, the book truly embraced everything that makes spring so special. There were caterpillars, slugs, worms, and all the small wonders of nature that remind us this time of year is all about fresh starts and new beginnings.

One of my favorite details was the inside cover, which was covered in colorful sidewalk chalk drawings — such a nostalgic and perfect symbol of springtime fun. The entire book felt warm, playful, and full of heart.

This is a delightful read that beautifully celebrates the magic, messiness, and joy of spring.
